Stefan Dasho, Research Scientist Stefan Dasho, program evaluator for the Youth Empowerment Strategies (YES!) program, is a social psychologist whose focus for the past 30 years has been childhood socialization in schools. He has extensive experience with ethnographic and other qualitative research including assessing a federal assistance program, school desegregation efforts, elementary school reform, and prevention programs at Far West Laboratory (now West Ed). For 18 years at Developmental Studies Center he developed curriculum and designed staff development for elementary and middle schools on human relations, character education, safe schools, reading comprehension and critical thinking. He has presented workshops in twenty three states and is a contributing author to books on emotional intelligence, staff development and cooperative learning.
