Aubrey Gonzales Daquiz, Research Associate

Aubrey Gonzales Daquiz is a Research Associate and Ford Foundation Research Intern with PHI's Center for Research on Adolescent Health and Development. In this position, she provides administrative and research support to research, evaluation, and policy efforts related to adolescent sexual health and rights. She is currently working on a content analysis study of sex education websites geared towards adolescents.

Daquiz has an array of research and community-based experiences related to adolescent health, sexual health, and gender issues. In her most recent position, she was responsible for maintaining high data quality for numerous clinical research studies including a large, multi-site, community-based HIV prevention study. She has also been involved with community education programs by facilitating presentations for middle and high school students on various health and relationship issues.

Daquiz received a bachelor of arts from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a master of public health at the University of California, Berkeley.
